Association for the Rights of the Elderly - Association for the Rights of the Elderly (A.R.E) established in 1979, with its members mainly consist of social workers and academics of social work training in Hong Kong. The objectives of A.R.E. include: (1) To enhance the awareness and develop the potential for self and mutual help; (2) To contribute constructive comments towards elderly policies; (3) To protect elders' rights and well-being and advocate for improvement; (4) To raise community concern and respect for the elderly.
Hong Kong Society for the Deaf - The Hong Kong Society for the Deaf is a non-profit making organization serving local hearing impaired persons and their families. Since 1968, the Society has been offering comprehensive services to hearing impaired persons including audiological and speech therapy services, pre-school education, adult education, vocational training and employment service, parents resource centre, social and recreational activities, counselling service and sign language interpretation services.
